Good story mode though more difficult than other Mario games. I wasn’t great at the level design portion of the game but daughter was great at it.

A game that I regularly revisit just to make a few courses, Mario Maker 2 is such an amazing level creator. Here’s to hoping we get a Mario Maker 3 in the not too distant future!

I got this game about 2 months after it came out. A Mario Maker sequel that was on a console I actually OWNED was a major dream for me, I had wanted to get a wii u back in the day almost specifically for mario maker. Alas, it did come out on 3ds, and I had got that one instead, but that was a year after the og game on the wii u. Actually playing the game, you will find it is packed to the brim with course features you will have to learn and master. There is also a (very barebones) story mode that unlocks more things for you to use. The online support is good for finding levels, but not good for multiplayer. Great game to just play around and make some levels on. 9/10.
