Ride 4? Ride 4 what? For me its Ride 4 pure, dry, ferculent misery, as I sustained atomic vomit 🤢 gurgling within me as the bike nauseatingly swoops from side to side like the Viking/Pirate ship ride at theme parks. More sensitive than my stepdad, controls are like walking on eggshells and feels like balancing your bunghole with an arsenic capsaicin cactus rod up the anus while balancing a diaper full of landmines, which upon detonating, explode with big balloon letters that say "You Suck" that shoves itself down your dickhole. Enjoy racetrack purgatory across bland tracks devoid of personality, copy pasted from literally any race sim, with PS1 quality shitty nighttime sky lighting that distracts you by hypnotizing your eyes with wavy 3-tone shades to convince you it's a good game, turning your eyes into the hypnotic pulses shared by the snake from Jungle Book, but in reality, your blood vessels cry out on strike from being used for such a droll waste of time, an experience sure to cruelly remind everyone that this game wasn't made for most people with Dextro-Amino DNA. Only those with titanic patience and an absurd love for hyper realism at the cost of much richer experiences, find interest in this 'production', down at the deep dark synaptic center of the mental crux where joy is found by the critical few, who, find arousal between overcoming the incredulously designed sensitivity of controls and questionably moral level of mental endurance that exceeds what most call "common sense" as a video game, a simulation of despair, as this 'creation' is touted as a rallying banner for those who may be proud to hoist its diabolic hyper realism maw of fun sucking quasars as an example of great design. All of this and more is realized in under 5 minutes, like being jacked into the Matrix learning software but only to download the depression.exe program making you feel like the bug infested asshole of a roadkill skunk. Those who dislike managing the game's communistic approach at having to shift constantly or be gate kept on speed will suffer as you see every opponent escape into the horizon and never see them again. I need medicine and therapy after this. I got whiplash taking off as the bike flips immediately upon starting the race. It's a QWOP level of control and frustration. (Look it up). This is QWOP a bike. Ragdoll effects make you wish you were the ragdoll in order to enjoy a morsel of excitement as you starve for gameplay beyond this Falling Simulator. Music/sound doesn't/didn't matter, there is nothing memorable or rewarding about this entertainment desert. Ride is honestly a good name for this, as a series that simply tells you what you do for a moment and somehow keeps developing new iterations of the same thing.
I did like the controller vibration feedback, but would rather have stuck it in my ass to jerk off with. I'll never get that 5 minutes back. Ride 4 gets a 4/10 and that's very generous. Only because I know this experience serves someone out there and those who like punishment.
