The mission requires secrecy. Failure is not an option. Play as Ada Wong in this additional scenario and experience the events of Resident Evil 4 from her perspective, filling in unanswered questions posed in the main story. In addition to the action available in the base game with Leon, a grappling gun can be used to get to various locations, as well as take down enemies from a distance and launch a ranged melee attack. This allows for a more exciting and fast-paced gameplay experience.
Before Leon S. Kennedy had even set foot in that cursed village, she was there. Her mission? The retrieval of the cult's darkest secret—the Amber. Now she must deal with an unknown threat that is devouring her from within, an accomplice with a dark past and ulterior motives,and a chance reunion with the man she least expected—Leon S. Kennedy. Why did she accept this mission? And what path will she make for herself in the shadow of Leon's investigation into the abduction of the president's daughter?

update: I cleaned my ps5 and finally finished it. Great game but the Ada voice actor threw me off big time
The new gameplay feature, namely the grappling gun, is a welcome addition that brings a lot more variety into the combat/traversal loop than ever before. The soundtrack, animation and voice acting are also on point.
This expansion is well worth your time and offers about 6-7 hours of quality playtime for only 10$/€. There is absolutely no reason not to play this.

This is a very nice conclusion to this masterpiece as we dive in through what Ada was doing while Leon was going through it playing her games that she had set up for him like the good little puppy he is 🙄🤚🏻 This dlc is much harder than the base game which was shocking to me. I found it a little bit of a struggle to keep this icon alive as the heals weren't as frequent as when I played as Leon, so I did die several times. Also the lack of treasure drops was questionable especially needing keys for chests. Ada has her classic crossbow from the original which is iconic. They also added a few things that were left out of the base game that stayed true to the original like the moving pillars, while also adding new stuff like the laser scenes which paid tribute to the original film. 😭love these Easter eggs.
Ada gets her own personal stalker which turns out to be the only boss from the original that wasn't included in the base game which is iconic. They added a few elements to him like him using Shadow clone jutsu while she was high on disease 😭. Loved her extra scenes with Luis they really had a very cute chemistry together, which worked out. The swinging gripping tool came in handy too. I liked to see her hate relationship with wesker. He looked so fine in this dlc also I noticed the easter eggs for a re5 remake👀 which I can't wait. What i do wish we had more though was scenes between Ada's rivalry and Krauser's like in the original game. I did wish for a fight between Ada and Krauser like the original seperate ways, however I understand it had to be Leon to do the job. Overall 10/10 dlc.
