Summary
A port for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows. It lacks the multiplayer modes present in the original release.
In 1911, former outlaw John Marston is forced by government agents to hunt down members of his old gang to secure his family's freedom. His journey takes him across the American frontier and into Mexico, where he becomes entangled in a civil war while pursuing his targets. Along the way, John allies with various characters to complete his mission. Ultimately, he faces challenges that test his resolve and his desire for redemption.

A perfect game with wonderful narration. The only bad thing about it is that the graphics are not good enough for a ported version.

This is a hot take here but I'm gonna say it, this game blows. This is coming from someone who used to play this A LOT. I think a big part of this is the fact that Rockstar made their crown jewel, Red Dead Redemption 2. That game is a masterpiece & when you hop back into this world you realize how slow, boring, & bland the world in it truly is.
The characters are thin, the environments are copied & pasted, & there is no excitement to be had. To be honest, I hung it up without even finishing. Will I go back to beat it one day? Sure. But for now, I'm done. To make matters worse, Rockstar has done their fans VERY dirty for the past 5 years so yeah, I'm over it.
All in all, this game is DEFINITELY not worth it's current $50 price tag. The charm is gone & the age is finally showing on this one. Read Dead Redemption 2 is & always will be their greatest achievement.
