PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond

a nice sequel! nice crossover and just hitting my nostalgic heart ♡

I actually played PokéPark 2 for the very first time a few years ago, although I had played PokéPark 1 a lot before that. After my second 100% playthrough, I liked the game even more than before. There are fewer mini-games, but they are longer, and you can only play them with four Pokémon, which is better, because I wouldn't want to play a five-minute mini-game with 15 Pokémon; that would just take too long. This time you play with four Pokémon, which you gradually unlock, and each has its own abilities. I like Snivy the most in the open world because she's very fast and has great movement, and I enjoy playing with all four Pokémon in battle. The 2D areas in the game are fun at times, but they can also be frustrating. The story is much darker than that of PokéPark 1, which is really cool. I like the new zones, and there are even collectibles you can trade. There are pros and cons in the battles, so you have to see which Pokémon has the advantage. After the story, there's also a battle tournament, which is really fun and not that difficult, except for a few individual battles. I did everything in the game except the achievements, I didn't feel like doing that. PokéPark 2 is a really great sequel. I'd say I like PokéPark 1 even more, but PokéPark 2 is also incredibly good, and I hope one day there will be a PokéPark 3 or PokéPark 1 & 2 HD for the Switch 2.
