Summary

The player guides Mappy the police mouse through the mansion of the cats called Mewkies (Meowky in the U.S. version) to retrieve stolen goods. The player uses a left-right joystick to move Mappy and a single button to operate doors. The mansion has six floors of hallways in which the stolen items are stashed.

This is...an interesting game. You run around house and steal stuff? Even tho according to the cover art it seems you "protect" the stuff by stealing htem (interesting logic if you ask me :D). Well anyway...it took me a moment to understand what the game wants from me because there is no attack button and neither jump so when enemies run at you it's over. Actually the only spot when you're invulnerable is when you're juping on a trampoline...the rest is really about luck if the AI decides to follow in the same row as you or no

Mappy is a really slick arcade game. You play as a police mouse retrieving stolen goods from the criminals hide out. The game features trampolines that allow you to strategically exit at certain floors, allowing you to dodge criminals, and collect stolen goods. You can pulse blast(?), I think, through doors to temporarily knock out your pursuers. The game is quite fun, in that classic arcade style, and reminds me of Donut Dodo, a more modern arcade game, in its stellar and frantic movement. This one was real fun, and my first experience with this game. Total winner as an arcade game.
