I played only offline and yet the game was lagging like crazy every 10 seconds (I mean I wouldn't mind that as I was usually waiting for money or my troops or something or it can be my PC ...I dunno but I feel like I should mention this)
When I was trying to siege a city it took ages (even if I put the game on 4x speed) before I could attack with my troops (for some reason all cities apparently have walls and you need to break the morale of the troops to 50%...or something else I dunno, I never found the meter for this thing so really no idea).
When I loaded some saves (random ones) my marshalls, vendors, clerics etc disapeared. I even once loaded a save and there were no cities on map??? Like I had to load another one! (I swear when I was saving the cities were there guys)
I could handle all of this really. I'm really flegmatic and I really really love the first knights of honor (it's the best game for me, one that I always love to come back at least once a year. But the thing that 'broke me' was the fact that all the cities around my kingdom were bugged mid fight - meaning the cities were attacked by rebels and the fight never stopped. I was waiting. 10 minutes, half an hour, hour...I reloaded save, I switched the game off and on, I restarted my PC BUT NOTHING HELPED! They just kept fighting! So I was like whatever, I'll just attack someone else...well...once I won the fight my marshalls and their army were just...gone. they didn't lose, they didn't die they just went poof and I honestly refuse to hire new marshall and buy him all the troops FOR EVERY SINGLE CITY I want to take over...
I wish I could say something nice about the game...anything, but even the graphics looks worse than in the original one. The town management is way too simplified. The troops are just...the same. I was playing as Moravia and there were no special troops just the ones everyone have...
And believe it or no I was playing it right when it came out deciding to stop because it was terrible then but I came back now and is just as bad! They fixed nothing! 😭
I was so looking forward to this game so this makes me extremely sad but guys...avoid this. Just don't touch it not even for free...
