Kirby's Adventure

I've played most of Nintendo's famous characters however i still have a few left to play. Kirby is one of them. Kirby has always been adorable and one of my main characters to fight with in smash bros but to my realization i never actually played a single Kirby game. I cane accross a family member's stash and found this so i had to borrow that Nes console again.

Kinda crazy how adorable Kirby can be, looking like a whole ass pink marshmellow blob but then again he can be so ruthless at the same time.😭the way Kirby swallows is frightful as you cant escape unless kirby decides when to spit you out. Out of all NES games ive played thus far this is the prettiest designed game. It's so vibrant compared to the most NES games. As much as i adore Kirby the true show stealer are the backgrounds honestly. The effects are pure chef's kiss. The ice cream island is probably the best background effect it truly made the game look alive.

The soundtrack is equally amazing, the tunes are so addiciting that, even post game im still singing the tunes in my head heck even as im writing this. Kirby's swallowing abilities that lrt you copy some of their attributes is a great mechanic.

Even though im praising this game a lot there is a major hold back, and that is the fact that once you finish a level your health bar doesnt refill that means if youre not careful you practically cooked. Only way to fix this is for you to play the minigames that will give you a chance to heal. This may be easy to experienced platformer players but to us degenerates finding that hidden path to the mini games to heal thats not easy.

Overall great game and i cant wait to experience the switch games in the future.

Magical NES game, I truly loved my first adventure with Kirby 🩷🩷🩷

Didn't age well like Super Mario Bros.

A pretty meh start to one of the biggest Nintendo franchises maybe ever, the whole idea of this game is really great though

I think kirby adventure holds up really well. It archive what it wants to be. A simple and easy yet charming platofmer. It's fast paced and easy for anyone to get into. If that's the case why have I scored it so low?. The controls. Pressing up on the dpad to acsess our multi jumps feels awful and over complicates such a simple game. It didn't make the game hard by any means. It just made it tedious to play. Thankfully this was fixed in the following kirby games. Even if an NES game appears to be not half bad. It finds a way to be total dogass

idc what people say about this it is still super solid and the nightmare boss is still one of the coolest final bosses ever
