Summary
Goodbye World is a narrative adventure game. Play through 12 stages of a puzzle platformer while following the two protagonists through 13 chapters of their story.
Programmer Kanii and graphics artist Kumade are two friends who met in college. After graduating, they’ve been creating indie games together, but so far life has been harsh; Their games don't sell, and most of their time is spent working part time jobs to make ends meet... As Kanii desperately tries to find a way to make a product that sells, Kumade makes a decision―

This games has a lot going for it artstyle wise and showcase the brutal difficulty of retro puzzle platformer really well.
It would have been nice to reward the player who pushed through and won every level or some accessibility toggle as the effects can get overwhelming.
The story kinda end abruptly too and I would've liked a better closure for the characters.

The gameplay was ironically to its plot not really entertaining and at some points I just scipped the gameplay to the next plot sequence (though I have to say these games are really not my vibe, so maybe its not actually as bad as it was to me). The art and music was cute, but also not very memorable. Overall a very forgettable game, but I get the vibe it tried to be
