Well it seems that I will definitely be talking about one of my favorite games, I will divide this review into 10 sections
Story: It seems that I will start by mentioning that this game is almost the best ever in embodying the legendary Japanese samurai in games, the Ghost of Tsushima Jin Sakai and the story of his struggle, psychologically and morally and the challenges he faced to protect his island from the Khan and the Mongols, passing through many side stories that helped the character in various ways, types of tragedies that of course did not find happy endings in many cases, the story is truly touching and attractive and deserves 8 out of 10 for sure
The world: Although the story takes place on one island, it is really divided into 3 large areas and many small areas. I never imagined that I would see one island of this vast size, so I imagine that this game applied the standards of real distances somewhat, the wonderful nature, mountains and rivers, snow and falling leaves in the fall, green plains areas, and rugged mountain areas. So, as for the historical direction of the game, I do not think that this game will be easily overcome in the future. The world deserves 9 out of 10.
Gameplay: Wow, this is definitely one of the topics I was most excited to talk about, the gameplay and the variety in it, the modes, the weapons, the armor and the colors and everything, the fluidity of the fighting and movement in the game, also the use of slow motion was really great and one of the best among the games ever, the running was good and the shooting was great, the sword fighting gives you ecstasy as if you are playing with a real character, the gameplay here is really great to the point that I am confused, I see 9 as unfair to it, but 10 is a crazy standard in the end, so I will give the gameplay 9 and a half out of 10
Graphics: For a PlayStation exclusive game at first, the graphics were a qualitative leap and few games matched it like Horizon, but believe me enjoying the graphics is one of the most important reasons for the game’s success. It strongly supports moments of contemplation and this is the reason for people’s emotional attachment to it. The graphics (if we consider that it was originally released on PlayStation devices and not PC) definitely deserve 9.5 out of 10.
Sounds: A great strength of this game, the sounds of battles and clashing weapons are good, the music is also good and I remember that the battle music had a special tune, but if we compare it to a game like The Witcher, even after you finish it do you remember its legendary music? Well I will be honest no, but that does not mean that the sound is strong, and this is if we count the voice actors because Jin Sakai's voice actor killed it, overall I think it is fair that the sounds deserve 8 out of 10 in this game
Challenge and balance: A point I shouldn't go into at length, the difficulty varies according to the player's experience, but let's talk about the average level, it was perfect despite its tendency to be easy in the end, but the main fights were very enjoyable and difficult, it is great for people who do not like souls games but want a real challenge, and I remember many times when I tried to defeat an enemy more than once and still lost, the difficulty level in this game is very distinctive, 8 out of 10 will do the trick
Innovation: Good point, I remember games like Dynasty Warriors, which in turn took a lot of ancient eras of East Asia as this game is, as for the samurai theme the game is not innovative, also if we take it from the aspect of protecting the country or homeland there are many games that have done this, the innovation in the game came from another place, the dialogues, the dialogues have always been fun in this game, also the system of moving via the wind instead of the map was great, the point of innovation of the game is not innovation, but the mastery of what is there, I do not want to reduce the evaluation as if I am saying that it is not innovative at all, but I also will not give it more than its right, 7 out of 10 seems okay
Game age: We have seen many long-lived games like Minecraft, or even games that took longer than expected like Fortnite, but story games have a different system, in the end they are 15-70 hours of main story and the rest is side missions, you forget about the subject with the end of the awards ceremony at the end of the year, but of course some games always remain in the mind like God of War and Uncharted and even Resident Evil, this game is no less than them, and the evidence is the uproar when the new part of it is released, but it does not compete with the giants very much, 8.5 out of 10 is very fair
Multiplayer: Something I don't like in story games is the multiplayer. It's really useless most of the time. It will definitely lower the rating, but I'd be fair if I say I didn’t tried it enough. So I expect that 5 out of 10 is enough.
Finally, value for money: I will sum it up, it is worth every penny I paid for it, 10 out of 10 for sure in this aspect.
In the end, after evaluating the average, it turned out that the game's rating is 8.25, and I will round it to 8.3 as a final rating. It's a very wonderful game.🤍🤍
