Summary

Play in a band with friends or perform solo on stage with hit music by your favorite artists in Fortnite Festival! On the Main Stage, play a featured rotation of Jam Tracks. Compete against friends for the best performance or team up to climb the leaderboards. The festival is just beginning with more Jam Tracks, Music Icons, concerts, and stages coming soon. Take your stage in Fortnite Festival!

Nothing groundbreaking, but I like that they tried giving the rhythm game genre some spotlight in what could be described as the most popular game among non-gamers.
Charts aren't impressive at all and the song selection ain't really my thing (I ended up playing the same 5-6 songs on repeat), but I hope they'll try to add more genres and artists now that the Miku collab was such a big success.
I also like how charts change based on what instruments are you playing, that's a nice touch (except I don't get why the electric shamisen is classified as a bass...?).

As always, I'm not the biggest fan of Fortnite art style. I find it quite ugly, to be frank; it's the corporate memphis of videogames, and it's quite honestly one of my biggest turn off about it.
The visuals aren't that good in this mode either, the stages aren't that great and 9 times out of 10 someone's instrument doesn't load (making for some funny moments), but eh, who cares. The rhythm game section works, and that's what matter. I'll admit doing the Default Dance while my friends where playing a guitar solo was comedy.

I won't lie, maybe what made me want to try this was the fact that it's the only game where John Wick, Godzilla, Hatsune Miku and Eminem can perform on stage both Californication and World Is Mine.

I'm a big fan of guitar hero and rock band game's. and this game mode really didn't disappoint.

it has everything that you would want from a rockband game but in Fortnite style and that's really it. It's an old game turned into a game mode for bigger community and support

Played on: Playstation 5
Version: Playstation 5
Edition: Digital

Pretty bare bones & doesn't have much that to keep you coming back. Rather boring honestly. I just wanted to play Guitar Hero by the time I was done. I can respect them for trying something new nonetheless.

Final verdict: Don't play it

WHY ARE THESE HOMIES DISSING MY GIRL???
METALLICA HEEEEEEEELLLLLLL YEAH
The first rthymn game that I played, is amazing how this is implemented into Fortnite, this game really is something else.
This game opened my eyes to rthymn games, I'm more interested in these type of games than I ever was.
