Fatal frame sucked in almost everything it did,it almost feels like its a parody of horror games. the story is completely incomprehensible for about 98% of the game,only being explained in the final boss,and ofc not good at all,shocker i know. The gameplay is based around heavily backtracking this annoying mansion and memorizing it with minimal help from the map,and the combat is a mess,with the ghosts spawning mostly behind the player and giving almost no breathing air to to kill them,resulting in SO many cheap deaths. The only this game has going for it is the ps2 horror atmosphere,and even that isn’t that noteworthy. I really wanted to like this game,and im not one for putting down somebody’s effort but this really feels like an easy money grab,since in the early 2000’s horror was at its peak. Also,wow,that voice acting was something..
