Summary
Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional cel animation (hand drawn & hand inked!), watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings. Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets. Cuphead is all action, all the time.

Cuphead is a boss rush game that is hard but insanely addicting. I've never felt more satisfied beating bosses in my life. Huge props to the artists of this game as everything is hand drawn and animated to emulate the rubber hose animation style of the early 1900s. Love it!

I played this only a little but I watched my son go at it for a while & it's not my cup of tea....Get it? CUP of tea...ahhh fuck it. Anyways, the aesthetic is unique & I really dig it. The gameplay? Not great. It's repetitive, pointless, & it's just rather brutal. Seriously the game is tough. All in all, really cool looking with some neat world building but ultimately the game itself is aggressively mid.
EDIT: So I just played the two player on this with my son & well, this is the better way to play. It makes it much easier (but still challenging) with the fun level being increase as well. Interesting game & world to boot.

Have given it 3 tries, is just boring and i hate that old era style of cartoons, is depressing and ugly. Gameplay is too repetitive you are just shooting over and over again. No more tries. Is not bad is just not for me.

This is another one of my favourite games now, everything in this game is fine tuned and it definitely was worth the wait, I do gotta say this game is pretty fucking hard but once you get the mechanics and put a few hours in it, you will begin to enjoy this game for what is it, an absolute masterpiece
