Super fun game, HELLA hard though!

This game is REALLY FUCKING HARD but if your willing to put a load of hours into this game then this game is absolutely amazing, the art style is really unique, the gameplay is addicting and overall this game is just amazing. This game also has one of the best DLC's adding new weapons, charms, new bosses AND A WHOLE ASS NEW CHARATER?? I'd recommend this game for people who want a very challenging videogame to play and for people who are willing to spend hours to grind and get better at this game :)

A blast, especially with friends

One of the best games ever, it's difficulty is challenging but not DS style. The art style and gameplay are masterfully created, the aura is amazing and the story, although relatively superfluous, is immersive and enjoyable. A love-letter to og animation that isn't just a gimmick. To me, a gaming essential for people who are up for a beautiful challenge

Played on: Nintendo Switch Version: Nintendo Switch Edition: Digital I played this only a little but I watched my son go at it for a while & it's not my cup of tea....Get it? CUP of tea...ahhh fuck it. Anyways, the aesthetic is unique & I really dig it. The gameplay? Not great. It's repetitive, pointless, & it's just rather brutal. Seriously the game is tough. All in all, really cool looking with some neat world building but ultimately the game itself is aggressively mid. EDIT: So I just played the two player on this with my son & well, this is the better way to play. It makes it much easier (but still challenging) with the fun level being increase as well. Interesting game & world to boot. Final verdict: Don't touch it

Fun, tough run and gun. It doesn't feel very well balanced when going for S ranks, the shmup sections are a pain (at least on controller), and having the level sections max out at P rank seems a little questionable, but I still had a great experience nonetheless.
