Summary

A totalitarian State controls every aspect of private and social life. Laws are oppressive. Surveillance is total. Privacy is dead. You are a State-installed manager of an apartment house. The State requires you to spy on your tenants, and report any illegal or subversive activity. However, you can also choose to keep the information to yourself, or use it to blackmail the residents, resulting in a multitude of choices and endings.

Beholder es un juego de simulación y aventura con mecánicas de gestión y toma de decisiones morales. Eres un administrador de un edificio estatal encargado de espiar a los inquilinos y cumplir las órdenes del gobierno totalitario. Debes recolectar información, resolver misiones y equilibrar tus acciones para mantener a tu familia segura mientras enfrentas dilemas éticos complejos.

Es un juego aparentemente simple, pero es capaz de hacerte cuestionar hasta dónde llegarías por el bienestar tuyo y de tu familia. Ninguna decisión que tomes se siente correcta e inevitablemente, en situaciones morales complejas, terminarás cumpliendo las órdenes éticamente incorrectas del Gran Líder.
