The gripping story will be presented as a documentary with interviews and police interrogations of the characters as you progress through the game. American Arcadia gives you control over two characters in completely different environments and unique play-styles: A 2.5D action side-scroller including challenging platform action, breath-taking chases, stealth and puzzles. As well as a full 3D first-person game, with hacking, exploration, stealth elements, and puzzles to solve.

Farklı bir oynanış denemişler, oyunda 1 saat 2d platform tarzı oynarken bir anda oynanış tarzı değişiyor 3d first person olarak devam ediyorsunuz. Konuyu 2 farklı kişiden anlatmış ve bu 2 farklı kişinin oynanışı da bambaşka çok güzel iş çıkarmışlar 9/10
Oyundaki en büyük eleştirim hikayeyi geçememek. Bazı yerlerde hikayenin gereksiz uzadığını söylemiştim işte bu gereksiz yerleri geçme tuşu olması gerekiyordu çünkü bazı yerler geliyor 4 5 dk altyazı okutturtuyor bu oyuna bu kadar uzun ve yavaş anlatım pek hoş olmamış, geçilebilse veya hızlandırılabilse güzel olurdu.
